(1) This card gains the following effects if an Xyz Monster is used as an Xyz Material to Summon this card.
• This card can attack twice during each battle Phase.
• Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; destroy all cards your opponent controls, and until this turn ends, this card gains 200 ATK for each card destroyed
(2) If this card in the Monster Zone is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can place this card in your Pendulum Zone.

I originally thought it is a fusion of all four dimension dragons, or a Fusion+Pendulum but guess not...
Supreme King Violent Dragon emerges as the second pendulum+xyz card introduced into the OCG, as Odd-Eyes receives yet another form/support/upgrade.

Its pendulum effect is very effective, as it allows the user to fetch ANY pendulum card from the deck and set it on the scale. This completes the scale and paves the road for a pendulum summon. Supreme King Violet Dragon's scale is also set at 1, the lowest possible scale digit thus far. Paired with a high scale at 12/10 or even 8, it allows a wide range of monsters to be pendulum summoned.

Its monster effect, or rather effects, showcases the terror of this card. On top of being capable of a double attack in each battle phase, not just the turn it is summoned, it can clear your opponent's field (yes entire field) and it even gains an attack boost from the destruction.
There are plenty analogies that can be made to prove that Konami went beyond their way to make this card useful:
  1. Like I mentioned, the double attack is given to every single battle phase this card can participate in, despite the option of limiting it to the turn Supreme King Violent Dragon is summoned. (This card can attack twice in the Battle Phase of the turn it is summoned.) So by that itself, is a plus.
  2. It has 3000ATK, 1000ATK points short of a two-time direct attack, which is very like due to its field clearing effect. The attack boost gains from the destruction-clearing puts your opponent in a position where he is most likely a goner, should Supreme King Violet Dragon destroy five or more cards. Hence, score one for OTK potential.
  3. Speaking of the destruction, this card's effect strayed from the norm massive field clearance back in the old days, where all cards other than itself gets destroyed - King of Armageddon, Judgment Dragon. The destruction only affects cards your opponent controls, meaning you are safe from it, and also indicating that your other monsters can participate in your OTK, should your opponent have floaters on the field or something preventing Supreme King Violent Dragon from getting the job done on its own.
  4. Being able to blow not just your opponent's field monster but also backrow further indicates this card's wrath and formidable effect.
This card gains the following effects if an Xyz Monster is used as an Xyz Material to Summon this card.
Haven't caught up with the anime yet, but I am pretty sure this means that the Destruction+Creation magicians will use their wumbo-jumbo to make Dark Rebellion Dragon gain a level.
2 Level 7 Dragon-Type Monsters

Yup.... definitely gonna be so...
The Dragon Ruler archetype fulfill this card's summoning condition easily, but at the same time, serves as a reminder that for cards like Violent Dragon to get printed, or even any Rank7s, the Dragon Rulers would have to stay behind bars.

Despite its overwhelming effects, the harsh summoning conditions might deter players from including it. But I see it as manageable xyz summon in a dedicated Odd-Eyes deck. And Odd-Eyes deck has been concentrating Level7 & Rank7 all the while anyway. You just need Creation+Destruction to fully enjoy its entire effect, but you can survive with its 'fetch another scale' effect anyway, even if you just xyz summon it with two Odd-Eyes.

And hope you didn't overlook this card's additional re-summoning effect:
If you can Pendulum Summon Level 7, you can Pendulum Summon this face-up card in your Extra Deck.

Now Supreme King Violent Dragon definitely isn't a one-trick pony with an effect like this... Although it won't have any materials with a summon like this, you can still have a 3000ATK monster at your disposal. This way, you can even abuse it in Metalfoes when you pendulum summon Apex Avian. But of course, you have to bring it out first. So Odd Eyes Metalfoes anyone?

Think I will end this card discussion here since I already talked about pretty much everything?

On a related note, I don't think Starve-Venom is the true form of Yuri's ace. I have a theory that Yuri is being somewhat mind-controlled or something, and Starve-Venom is a corrupted form. My belief in this theory of mine is because Starve-Venom sits at 2800ATK instead of the norm - 2500ATK. Well, let's wait and see.
